For our women, ensuring a dignified livelihood for their families and communities is paramount.

The embroidered masterpieces may take them, many hours, sometimes days and weeks and even months to produce, they pride themselves on the time invested, as it contains a mixture of feelings and emotions between their love for embroidery, income productively gained for their families and ultimately contributing to the preservation of a key Palestinian national heritage produce, which makes all Palestinians pride. 

As is well known, each thoub represents a geographical area in Palestine. Embroidering these traditional thoubs, continues not only because of their critical national significance, being part and parcel of Palestinian identity, but also because there is a demand for them in the local, regional, and international markets and are worn with pride across the world. 

To keep up with times and market demand globally, the thoub has been the backbone in the diversification of Palestinian embroidery production.
