What do we do?

We create modern handmade embroidery, designed and crafted by Palestinian women. 

The process of creating the embroidered pieces begins with the preparation of designs and raw materials, by members and staff of the Kalandia Camp Women's Handicrafts Cooperative (KCWHC). 

Those are then distributed to women in marginalised villages and refugee camps, throughout the West Bank and Gaza to commence embroidering. 

The Co-op’s embroidery production nowadays includes the following items: keffiyehs, skirts, vests, pencil/makeup/glasses cases, handbags, shawls, scarfs, wallets & purses, belts…etc.
